Getting a problem fixed
How do I get a problem fixed?
Where we have a fix kit, it sits inside the finding under Fix it yourself. It gives the steps, code for your stack and a way to see that it worked, and it is free on every plan.
Copy AI prompt puts the same fix in one message for the AI builder you made the app with. Or open We fix it and ask our team.
What happens when I ask for a fix?
On a Care app, Request fix hands the finding to a person at Vallit, and every confirmed finding is included. On Watch, on Free and on the free check, Fix it for €99 pays for one fix on its own.
You follow the request in your Inbox. The next check shows the result.
Will Vallit change my code by itself?
No. With pull requests allowed, a fix for a finding in your code arrives as a pull request from the Vallit GitHub App, on a branch of its own. Nothing changes until you merge it, and Vallit never merges. Otherwise the fix arrives as a change for you to apply.
For that, the app asks to read and write contents, pull requests and issues on the repositories you share. To stop it, disconnect the repository, or uninstall the app in your GitHub settings.

How long does a fix take?
A paid fix arrives within two business days of your order, and the time stands still while we wait for something from you. If we cannot deliver it, you get the €99 back.
On Care, a critical finding gets an answer by 18:00 Berlin time on the next business day, not necessarily the finished fix. A single job over 2 hours we agree with you first.
How do I know a fix worked?
The next check no longer lists the finding, and it appears under Fixed since in the report. When you merge a pull request from Vallit, the full check is due at once.
When a person at Vallit opens a finding, the check runs again at that moment. If it no longer finds the problem, the finding closes as fixed and your fix request closes.
